Founder and Director
Dr. Patrick Crehan is the founder and Director of CKA, a Brussels-based provider of consultancy services focused on the management of research and innovation. He has more than 20 years of experience advising top management in the public and private sector. CKA is a member of the EU Platform for Business and Biodiversity. Patrick is a full member of the EU Chapter of the Club of Rome. Nowadays, he works on the transformation of industry and society in response to the climate and energy crisis, in sectors such as agriculture and food, energy and transport, the circular bio-economy and construction. He is especially interested in how to scale the adoption of energy and climate related innovation, at the pace needed to reach net-zero by 2050. Success in reaching this goal requires more than just the adoption of new technology. It requires the transformation of systems for business-finance, education and training, as well as policy-innovation by national, regional and local government.
